Sky-Screw

The design of the ‘Sky-screw’ spiral staircase breaks new ground in staircase construction. The appearance of a rotating propeller turning upwards can be achieved using glass, wood and our high-tech concrete.

Glass spiral staircase:

The glass steps consist of individual panes of varying sizes that are bonded together using a special film, similar to that used in load-bearing glass elements. Each pane has its own unique shape and is oval to make ascending the staircase as comfortable as possible.

Various design elements can be incorporated here to customise the staircase’s appearance. The steps can be illuminated individually or as a whole with LEDs, or just the plinth at the bottom of the staircase, which would make the spiral staircase ‘float’ on a bed of light, so to speak.

Additional glass, in curved or short straight sections, can be used for the balustrade.

Concrete spiral staircase:

Using our specially developed ‘high-tech’ concrete mix, the same look can also be achieved with a concrete staircase. By mixing in marble dust, the staircase takes on either the appearance of real marble or a novel synthetic surface. Both variants have their own unique appeal.

Wooden spiral staircase:

Similar to our Pentagon model, the Rotor wooden staircase is partly handcrafted. Any type of wood can be used to give the staircase the right look for your home. By painting it in various colours, the wooden staircase takes on a modern look – for example, in black or white – or a bold, striking appearance when colours such as blue, red or yellow are used.
