Aesthetics and functionality The threshold-free installation of our systems creates a future-ready living environment, enhancing both the aesthetics and the comfort of the home. Special ball bearings and stainless-steel axles in enclosed SKF/RMB housings provide uniquely smooth running characteristics. A sliding door weighing 180 kg in total can be moved with less than 20 Nm (2 kg) of force. The glass elements can also be electrically operated if required. Reduction to the maximum The glazing is produced using thermally broken light-alloy system profiles. Made from a corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy (Al, Si, Mg 0.5), the extruded profiles are thermally insulated by rolled-in polyamide strips. The surface finish may be natural anodised, have a brushed stainless-steel appearance, or be powder-coated in a colour from the RAL, NCS or anthracite metallic mica ranges.

Even numerous exceptionally large sliding elements can be incorporated—co-ordinated with one another, disappearing silently into a partition wall, or sliding away from a corner without a supporting post. Even when closed, the system preserves an uninterrupted view from the light-filled room out into nature. The floor guide and surrounding frame profiles can be completely recessed into the floor and ceiling and into the adjoining walls. Exceptional acoustic-insulation values are achieved. Impact-resistant and bullet-resistant glazing can also be specified within the system. Running performance remains excellent even with very large sliding windows.
