Free-standing helical staircases and curved staircases are generally found in exclusive private homes and villas, or in public buildings and hotels with prestigious reception halls. In design, too, we aim to pursue a distinctive approach and create impressions that remain in the memory.
Glass, concrete and timber play a central role in Siller’s helical staircases. Glass can serve as a structural element on both sides, as with the Fly staircase, or form a curved-glass balustrade, as in the Cobra model
