Villa Lago - The Glass House

The Villa Lago project examines how glass can be used as a structural element in bespoke homes.

As glass technology advances, glass can be used not only in staircase construction but also as a load-bearing element for upper floors and complete roofs. This creates entirely new possibilities for contemporary architecture—possibilities that, from our perspective, remain largely overlooked and are seldom realised. New horizons are opening up for life in a glass house: close to nature yet within your own four walls, with innovative building services powered by renewable energy, a healthy indoor environment supported by the latest ventilation systems, and privacy in bathrooms and bedrooms provided by privacy glass technology. The glass house offers all of this, together with luxury and comfort at the highest level. Individual rooms, conservatories and even entire houses can be individually designed and built using load-bearing glass elements. We would be delighted to apply our experience in structural glazing to help realise your ideas.
