Holistic Architecture and Design Concepts

We regard a staircase as part of a wider whole. Not only the staircase and stairwell themselves, but also every adjoining room, trade, wall and item of furniture should be coordinated to create a coherent overall scheme. We offer a wealth of experience in advising and supporting you through this process, for both new builds and renovations. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, we have designed and built entire houses as well as individual building elements. This gives us an in-depth understanding of construction processes and their interrelationships, together with the characteristics and performance of individual materials. Would you like to redesign your staircase or stairwell? Benefit from our experience as a source of creative ideas. We propose solutions that can be achieved with either limited or extensive work. We also have extensive experience in structural glazing, ranging from the design and manufacture of walk-on glass floors and bridges to glass staircases, glass façades and bespoke glasswork. If required, we can also design and build a bespoke entrance portal, with its form and choice of materials tailored to your preferences.

The Craft of Staircase Construction

For us, staircase construction is a skilled craft. Every component is individually made and bears the unique signature of its maker. Drawing on our many years of experience, we can offer solutions in a broad variety of materials and finishes. These include wood, glass, steel, Corian, gold, silver, bronze and concrete. Please note, however, that despite the utmost care in manufacture, certain tolerances are unavoidable in both handmade and machine-produced components. Please consult the relevant regulations in your country or contact one of our partners, who will be happy to advise you.
