Modern glass staircase with clean, transparent architecture
The ‘Rio’ staircase is a self-supporting glass staircase. The design focuses on asymmetrical glass shapes combined with stainless steel brackets.
Glass struts are used for structural reinforcement; these are positioned at right angles to the staircase and connect the glass balustrades at the joints.
The glass is laminated safety glass, and its thickness varies depending on the load and location.
